From the initial implementation iMedX’s trained abstractors are your resource for abstraction, feedback and education. In essence, we partner with you to become an off-site member of your team, completing your concurrent or retrospective abstraction in a timely and effective manner. Your dedicated account representative is available to you any time to discuss any aspect of your abstraction program and help you achieve your goals.

Certified Abstractors

Working with core measures since its inception, our knowledge and experience helps qualify us as experts in the field. We only hire experienced, credentialed abstractors with a minimum of five years experience. Our abstracting staff is credentialed at various levels with a minimum of one of the following credentials:

  • AHIMA Credentials (RHIA or RHIT)
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN)
  • Certified Coding Associate/Certified Coding Specialist (CCA/CCS)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare-related field and/or Nursing
