All our services are designed to be deployed and delivered from a central computer located at our data center, which works in conjunction with TurboScribe® that resides on the user’s computer. Using a process called component streaming, TurboScribe automatically determines which component is required for a particular function, and then streams it down from the iMedX Streaming server. This process ensures that our customers always have the latest version of the software--new version upgrades in a traditional sense, are not necessary. This model also helps us keep the cost of service and maintenance low.

Every aspect of the design of the products is geared towards scalability. This allows us to support the rapidly growing number of iMedX users nationwide. iMedX® software is written completely in Java, As it is completely standards-based, the risk of obsolescence is low.

iMedX® also follows HIPAA guidelines and supports HL7 standards.
