Who is iMedX?
iMedX is a Connecticut-based healthcare services company that provides information technology and services to physician practices and hospitals. Our two customer categories are quite distinct – medical practices are run very differently from hospitals. As a result our services are tailored along two separate lines to appeal to these similar but separate entities. Our end results are the same; we add value by helping physicians in practices and hospitals, save time, lower costs and maximize revenues.

iMedX provides a hosted service that is built on its proprietary technology platform that allows the Company to offer a variety of scalable solutions. iMedX technology platform is supported by a high-quality back office ensuring operational scalability and the ability to pass on operational cost savings to its customers.
 
What services does iMedX provide its customers?
  • iMedX TurboScribe® lets doctors rapidly access and manage their transcriptions over the Internet. The transcribed documents are secure, portable, and easily searchable. Our service is capable of seamlessly integrating with existing electronic medical record software for physicians or hospitals. Our easy, paperless simplicity uses a rich user interface to allow transcriptionists, medical records administrators, or physicians to easily view & correct transcripts online using MS Word, and fax/email and otherwise electronically share transcripts and letters automatically with referring physicians without using paper.
  • iMedX TurboRecord® for internal medicine, family practice, and ENT is an internet-based compliant electronic health record (EHR) solution. Since it is delivered over the internet, there are no computers to buy, and no IT services to pay for. All software updates are automated online. Furthermore, for doctors that do not want to use a keyboard, TurboRecord® allows the doctor to dictate or hand-write narratives, thus eliminating the drawback of most EMR systems – transforming the doctor into a data entry operator.
  • iMedX TurboRx® is an online, e-prescribing service. As a free-standing application, the practice does not require an EMR to derive the benefits of electronic prescription. And with no computers to buy, and no IT costs, it is an easy, inexpensive choice for electronic prescriptions nationwide.
