EHR Abstraction Consultant
iMedX is looking for an EHR Abstraction Consultant to work with clinics and physician practices in helping implement iMedX's Abstraction solutions. You will be the liaison between iMedX's clinic customers and iMedX's medical abstraction team to help doctors who would like to continue to dictate even as their EHR is implemented. Most doctors' productivity is reduced with EHR's, because typing into an EHR slows them down, resulting in seeing fewer patients. This is a serious revenue loss for the clinic. iMedX can help by allowing the doctor to continue to dictate, while iMedX's medically trained staff consolidates the dictations and other documents into the specific fields in the EHR. You will help implement this process while inspiring confidence in the clinics through your knowledge and experience with clinic workflow, EHR's, and clinical documentation.
Ideal candidates will be experienced with physician office workflows, have hands-on familiarity with EMR’s/EHR's, have clinical experience in a doctor’s office, have medical documentation experience, and ideally be an RN or equivalent.
